Healthy Tacos

Ingredients for taco wrap:

  • Wheat flour : 2 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Chili flakes : 1/4 teaspoon
  • Water as per need

Ingredients for stuffing :

  • Chopped red yellow pepper : 1 cup
  • Chopped Lettuce : 2 cups
  • Guacamole : 1 cup
  • Boiled and chopped broccoli : 1 cup
  • Lemon juice : 2 teaspoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Taco seasoning : 2 teaspoons
  • Chili flakes : 1/4 teaspoon
  • Roasted garlic flakes : 1/2 teaspoon : (optional)
  • Cottage cheese (paneer) : 150 gm

Ingredients for salsa :

  • De-seeded and chopped tomato : 1 cup
  • Chopped onion : 3 tablespoons
  • Red chili powder : 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice : 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves : 1/4 cup
  • Chopped green chili : 1
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Chopped salary : 1/2 teaspoon

Serves :  6 pieces

Preparation time : 20 minutes

Assembly time : 5 minutes

Preparation for taco wrap/shell:

  • Mix salt, chili flakes and flour together.
  • Add water and prepare soft dough. Rest this dough for 5 minutes.
  • Divide this dough in 6 balls and roll these balls flat, around 15 inches big round discs.
  • Roast it both the side properly, do not overcook and keep them soft.
  • Cover these wraps with cotton cloth.
  • Mix all stuffing ingredients in bowl except guacamole.
  • Take one taco wrap, apply one tea spoon guacamole on it, add stuffing and add salsa on it.
  • Fold the taco wrap and serve with fresh salad.

Preparation for salsa:

  • For salsa, collect all salsa related ingredients in big bowl and mix it properly.
  • Refrigerate the salsa mixture.
