Vegetable Cutlets

Ingredients:

  • Boiled and smashed potatoes: 2 cups
  • Chopped and boiled french bean: 2 tablespoons
  • Boiled green peas; 2 teaspoons
  • Chopped and boiled carrot: 2 teaspoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander leaves: 2 tablespoons
  • Garam masala: 1 & 1/2 teaspoons
  • Ginger paste: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chili paste: 2 teaspoons
  • Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
  • Soaked poha( beaten rice): 1/2 cup
  • Oil for frying.
  • Fresh bread crumbs: 1/4 cup

Serves: 10 medium size cutlets
Preparation time : 10 minutes
Frying time: 10 minutes

Preparation:

  • Mix all ingredients in bowl and mix properly and give it cutlet shape.
  • Heat oil in a pan on high flame for 5-10 minutes and try to fry one cutlet, if it does not break then fry another and reduce flame on medium.
  • Fry till golden brown. If cutlet breaks, apply bread crumbs on it & then fry.
  • Serve with green chutney, tomato ketchup and finely chopped onion.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and crushed black pepper.
