Mushroom Balls

Dip

Ingredients :

  • Mushroom : 1 pack (12 pieces )
  • Grated cheese : 3 tablespoons
  • Chopped spring onion : 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper powder : 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chili flake : 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves : 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped jalapeños : 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chopped mushroom stem
  • Ginger chili paste : 1/4 teaspoon
  • Gram flour : 1/4 cup
  • Red chili powder pinch
  • Bread crumbs : Depends on the crunchiness level you want.
  • Black sesame seeds : 1 & 1/2 teaspoons
  • Water
  • Oil for frying

Preparation time :  5 minutes

Cooking time : 10 minutes

Serves : 6 balls

Preparation:

  • Wash mushroom properly and than remove skin.
  • Separate the stem form mushroom and finely chop it
  • Roast mushroom for few seconds with little oil.
  • For the dip mix chopped spring onions, coriander, chili flakes, salt, jalapeños, pepper powder, chopped mushroom stem and grated cheese in a bowl.
  • Mix all ingredients properly.
  • For the batter mix gram flour, salt, ginger chili paste, red chili powder in bowl, then slowly add water.
  • To prepare balls, take toothpick and join two different mushrooms together.
  • Dip the mushroom balls in batter, coat them with bread crumbs and sesame seeds.
  • Prepare all mushroom balls the same way and leave it for few minutes for good result.
  • Fry all mushroom balls on medium heat until golden brown in color.
  • Serve with dip.
