Millet(Ragi) Cup Cake

Ingredients:

  • Ragi / Millet flour : 1cup
  • Brown sugar powder : 1/4 cup
  • Honey : 1/4 cup
  • Refine oil : 1/4 cup
  • Coco powder : 3 table spoons
  • Baking powder : 1/4 teaspoon
  • Soda by carb : 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vanilla essence : 3 drops
  • Flax seeds powder : 1 & 1/2 teaspoons (optional)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Almonds

Preparation time : 10 minutes

Baking time : 20 to 25 minutes

Serves : 6

Preparation :

  • Mix oil and sugar in a bowl and beat the mixture properly until it turns fluffy in texture.
  • Keep all dry ingredients in strainer and then add to the mixture.
  • Add honey and vanilla essence to the mixture.
  • Slowly add lukewarm milk and stir properly.
  • Prepare batter from the mixture and the consistency must be dropping.
  • Beat this mixture for few seconds.
  • Preheat the oven at 175 degree for 10 minutes.
  • Arrange the mixture in cake molds.
  • Arrange all cups in oven tray and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Keep checking in between.
  • Once done take them out and garnish with almonds.
