Apple Brownie Cake

Ingredients:
- All Purpose Flour: 1 cup
- Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- Baking Soda: 1/4 teaspoon
- Baking Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Butter: 125 gms – Melted and cooled
- Sugar: 1 cup
- Egg: 1
- Walnuts: 1/2 cup
- Apples: 2 diced
Serves: 4
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Bake Time: 35-45 minutes
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a baking dish properly.
- Whisk together first 5 ingredients above (flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, and baking soda) in a bowl.
- In another bowl, beat together butter, sugar, and egg in a mixer until pale for about 2 minutes.
- Add walnuts and apples, and stir by hand until combined.
- Add flour mixture and stir until combined for another minute.
- Spread batter in pan. Bake until golden brown and slightly firm for about 35-45 minutes.
- Let cool on a wire rack 30 minutes, then cut into bars.
Storage:
Brownies can be kept outside in an airtight container for about 5 days. After that, please keep it in the refrigerator.
