Trio Halwa

Ingredient for lauki (bottle gourd) halwa:
- Grated lauki (bottle gourd): 1 cup
- Unsalted butter : 1/2 teaspoon
- Condensed milk: 1/4 cup
- Milk: 2 teaspoons
- Milk powder: 2 teaspoons
- Chopped pistachio: 1 teaspoon
- Dry fruits powder: 1 & 1/2 teaspoons
- Cardamom powder: 1/4 teaspoon (choice)
Ingredients for carrot halwa:
- Grated carrot: 1 cup
- Unsalted butter: 1/2 teaspoon
- Condense milk: 1/4 cup
- Milk: 2 teaspoons
- Milk powder: 2 teaspoons
- Chopped cashew nuts: 1 teaspoon
- Cardamom powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Chopped pistachios: 1/2 teaspoon
Ingredients for Suran halwa(yam halwa):
- Par boiled and grated suran: 1 cup
- Condensed milk: 1/4 cup
- Milk: 2 teaspoons
- Milk powder; 2 teaspoons
- Coarsely chopped wall nut: 2 teaspoons
- Cardamom powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Unsalted butter:1 teaspoon
For garnishing:
- Saffron strands : 6 to7 dissolved in 2 teaspoon milk
- Chopped pistachios: 1 & 1/2 teaspoon
Serves: 4
Time for all: 25 minutes
Preparation:
- Take a microwave safe bowl and add butter and lauki and micro wave for 2-5 seconds then add all other ingredients and mix properly.
- Again keep in microwave for 2 minutes till mixture thickens. Check the mixture after 1 minute and check if it does not stick to bowl.
- Remove from microwave and let it cool at room temperature.
- Same way make another two halwa. Take muffin mould and grease with butter and put chopped pistachios and add 1 table spoon lauki mixture then carrot mixture and suran mixture.
- Remove the mixture from the moulds in serving tray and garnish with saffron milk and pistachios.
Note:
It is very easy and quick recipe. Also very healthy and attractive. Carrot ,yam and bottle gourd are very healthy vegetables.
