Stuffed Bitter Gourd Salad

Ingredients: (Serves – 4, Cooking Time – 20 minutes)
- Chana dal –1/4 cup
- Bitter gourd—2 big pieces
- Salt to taste
- Oil— 1 1/2 teaspoon
- Chili garlic paste—1 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice–1 teaspoon
- Onion chopped 1 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves —2 teaspoon
- Resins –1/2 teaspoon
- Asafoetida—pinch
- Bhel sev—-2 teaspoon
Recipe:
- Remove skin of bitter gourd and add salt and leave it for 5 minutes.
- Wash with water. Steam it for 5 min then let it cool. Soak chana dal in water for 2 hours then boil for ten minutes.
- Half crush chana dal. Heat oil in pan, add chili garlic paste.
- Add crushed chana dal, salt, lemon juice, sugar,resins and asafoetida .
- Remove from heat add coriander leaves. Stuff bitter gourd with this stuffing and garnish with sev , chopped onion and coriander leaves.
