Saffron Rose Paneer Modak

Ingredients:
- Crumbled paneer: 1 cup
- Milk powder: 1/2 cup
- Condensed milk: 1/2 cup
- Saffron strands: 4
- Milk : 1 teaspoon
- Rose syrup: 1 & 1/2 teaspoons(less or more)
- Modak mould
Serves: 8 modak
Time: 10 minutes
Preparation:
- Fresh home made paneer is better. If not then first wash paneer and wipe it.
- Crumble with fingers in a pan. Heat pan and add crumbled paneer and roast for 2 min on slow flame.
- Add milk powder and condensed milk and mix properly.
- Stir continuously till mixture leaves the border of pan. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Divide paneer mixture in two portion. Add saffron milk in one portion and mix it properly.
- Add rose syrup in second portion and mix properly.
- Take modak mold and fill one half with rose mixture and other half with saffron mixture, press it little and remove from mold and modk is ready.
- Garnish with pistachios.
