Rava Sheera

Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp Ghee
- 1.5 cups Sooji (Rava)
- Sliced Almonds, Raisins and Cashews
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cardamom (Elaichi) powder
- 4-5 strands of saffron
Preparation Time : 20-25 minutes
Serves : 4
Recipe:
- Add ghee in a pan and let it heat for ~2 minutes
- Add Sooji and stir well for ~8 minutes on low flame
- Add almonds and cashews and stir again
- Heat 2 cups of water, add it to the pan and stir well
- Add little sugar and close the pan with a lid. Let it stay for ~2 minutes
- If the mixture appears to be too thick, add some hot milk
- Add sugar and stir. Once the sugar gets absorbed, close the pan with the lid and let it steam out for ~5 minutes
- Add cardamom and raisins
- Add saffron to 1 tbsp milk and heat it in the microwave for ~5 seconds. Add it to the pan
- Stir well and turn off the gas after ~1 minute
- Let it stay for a few minutes with lid on
- Serve and enjoy
