Quinoa Dumpling

Ingredients:

  • Boiled quinoa: 1/2 cup
  • Boiled mix vegetables: 3 tablespoon (carrot,french beans,carrot)
  • Rice flour or gram flour: 3 tablespoon
  • Boiled green peas: 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped spring onion: 2 teaspoon
  • Garlic paste: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chili ginger paste: 1 & 1/2 teaspoon
  • Curd: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh chopped coriander leaves: 2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon oil (optional)
  • Green chutney / salsa sauce for serving

Serves: 7 to 8 dumplings
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes

Preparation:

  • Take the rice / gram flour and prepare dough. Prepare 7 – 8 round disks using the dough.
  • Mix all all vegetables, chili ginger paste, coriander leaves, lemon juice, oil and salt in a bowl.
  • Stuff the round disks with the above mentioned mixture and give individual discs the shape of dumpling.
  • Arrange in steamer and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with green chutney or salsa sauce.
  • It is very healthy break fast. It can be prepared without garlic and ginger also.
  • In case you don’t like healthy food you can shallow fry the dumpling!!
