Lentil & Flatten Rice (Poha) Starter

Ingredients:
- Yellow moong dal (lentil) ——2 cup
- Chili ginger paste—2 teaspoon
- Sugar —1 tablespoon
- Oil —-1 1/2 teaspoon
- Chat masala —–2 tablespoon
- Lemon juice —–1 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves —-4 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds—-1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Garam masala —–1 teaspoon
- Bread slice ——-8
- Soaked poha (flatten rice)——–2 cup
- Grated cheese —-1/4 cup
- Chopped mint leaves —–1 1/2 teaspoon
- Butter —-2 tablespoon
- Tomato ketchup —-2 teaspoon
Serves: 4
- Preparation time ——–15 min
- Cooking time —-20 min
Recipe:
- Soak moong dal in water for two hours and crush in blender.
- Saute it in oil for ten min. Add sugar,chat masala, chili ginger paste, lemon juice, sesame seeds, garam masala, salt and coriander leaves.
- Mix it properly and remove from heat. Let it cool. Crush bread slices in blender and make fresh bread crumbs.
- Add soaked poha in it and add 1 teaspoon chili ginger paste, salt, coriander leaves,1 teaspoon chat masala, mint leaves and 2 teaspoon grated cheese and make proper dough.
- Apply butter inner sides of oven tray. First layer poha mixture and press it softly.
- Make second layer of moong dal on it. Repeat layering alternately and apply grated cheese on uppermost layer.
- Make stripes with tomato ketchup on it.Bake to 180 degree preheated oven for 25 min.
