Hara Bhara Kebab

Ingredients: (Cooking Time: 30 minutes)
- Spinach –1 big bunch
- Boiled and mashed green peas–1 1/2 cup
- Grated paneer–1/4 cup
- Boil and grated medium size potatoes,.–4
- Green chilly paste —2 tea spoon
- Ginger paste –11/2 tea spoon.
- Fresh coriander leaves chopped –31/2 tea spoon.
- Garam masala -1 tea spoon
- Salt to taste
- Roasted cumin powder–11/2 tea spoon.
- Bread crumbs –1/2 cup
- Soaked flatten rice flakes (poha)—-2 table spoon.
- Oil for frying.
Recipe:
- Blanch spinach in hot water for 2 min. drain and keep in cold water and squeeze out excess water and make paste.
- Add potatoes, salt, paneer, 1 tea spoon chilly paste, ginger paste 1 tea spoon cumin powder, bread crumbs, poha and mix well.
- Divide in equal portions and make balls.
Stuffing:
- Heat 1 tea spoon oil in pan and add mashed peas. Saute for 1/2 min. Add chilly and ginger paste, salt, 2 drops lemon juice.
- Remove from heat. Add coriander leaves, garam masala.
- Take spinach balls and flatten between your palms. Put stuffing in it and make balls. Then flatten and fry until brown and sprinkle chat masala.
- Note: The flatten kebabs can be shallow fried or baked in an oven.
- Serve with green chutney,tomato ketchup or green mint chutney with yoghurt.
