Exotic Cauliflower

Ingredients : (Cooking Time: 20 minutes, Serves – 4)

  • 1 —Medium cauliflower (500 gm)

For Green paste—

  • 2 1/2 Cup coriander leaves
  • 1 Cup mint leaves
  • 5 — Pieces of green chilly
  • 1 — Small piece of ginger
  • 1 —Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 –Tablespoon grated coconut
  • Salt to taste
  • 3–Ice cubes
  • 1/2 Teaspoon butter
  • 2 —Teaspoon boiled green peas ( for garnishing)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon—tomato ketchup

For white sauce—

  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 11/2-Cup milk
  • 1 Tablespoon—corn flour
  • Salt,pepper
  • 2 Teaspoon–grated cheese

Recipe:

  • Remove cauliflower leaves. Keep little stem. Take enough water in heating pan, add 1 tea spoon salt and keep cauliflower in it.
  • Boil on slow flame for 10 min. Remove from it and pour cold water on it. Remove all water and dry it.
  • For white sauce,take butter in heating pan and add corn flour. Saute for a min, add milk and cook till the mixture thickens. Remove from heat, add pinch of sugar,cheese and pepper powder.
  • Now keep the cauliflower in serving plate on it’s stem. Pour green paste in between buds of cauliflower stem and arrange peas inside it.
  • Pour white sauce when ready to serve Sprinkle black pepper powder.
  • Garnish with drops of tomato ketchup.
