Vegetable Momos

Ingredients:

  • Rice flour —-1 cup
  • Oil —-1 tablespoon
  • Water —1 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Plastic sheet

Ingredients for stuffing:

  • Oil 11/2 teaspoon
  • Finely chopped carrot —-2 tablespoon
  • Finely chopped french beans——2 tablespoon
  • Chopped cabbage —2 tablespoon
  • Chopped spring onion —-2 tablespoon
  • Chopped green chili —1/4 teaspoon
  • Vinegar —1/4 teaspoon
  • Chopped capsicum —–2 tablespoon
  • Tomato ketchup –1 tablespoon
  • Red chili sauce –1/4 teaspoon
  • Soya sauce —-1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder —1 teaspoon
  • Pepper powder –1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

Serves: 6 to 8 pieces
Preparation time —-10 min
Steaming time –15 to 20 min

Recipe:

  • Heat 1 1/2 cup water and add 1 tablespoon oil.
  • When water start boiling add rice flour and stir properly and cover the pan and then take it from the stove.
  • When mixture is completely cool. Make a smooth dough and divide in 8 balls. Roll thin round puris from it.

Stuffing:

  • Heat oil, add green chili add all chopped vegetables.
  • Add salt and saute for 5 min. Add all other ingredients in it and stir properly.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool. Take one rice puri and keep stuffing on one side and fold it and make half circle.
  • Prepare all others same way. Apply oil on plate and arrange all momos and steam it in steamer for 15 to 20 minutes and serve with schezwan sauce.
  • Serve hot.
