Khaushe (Burmese)

Ingredients:

  • Boiled spaghetti —-1 cup
  • Finely chopped cabbage —-1/4 cup
  • Boiled and chopped potato——-1/4 cup
  • Bhel ka puri in small pieces —-1/2 cup
  • Fried split white beans (val ka dal) ——1/2 cup
  • Fried noodles —- 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice — 4 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon powder —2 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste —–3 to 4 teaspoon
  • Besan —3 teaspoon
  • Coconut milk —–1 teen or 3 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder —-1 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder– a pinch
  • Chopped coriander leaves ——3 teaspoon

Serves: 4 to 5
Time: 25 min

Recipe for fried split white beans:

  • Soak beans in water for 2 hours.Remove from water and wipe with cloth.Make it dry and fry.Boil noodles and dry with paper napkin and fry. A lso available in super market .
  • Recipe for coconut curry:
  • Mix coconut milk with besan properly. Add cinnamon powder,salt, red chili powder garlic paste and turmeric powder.
  • Add 2 cup water and cook this mixture for 15 min till little thick(not too thick) .
  • Take serving bowl and add spaghetti, puri, fried noodles, potatoes, cabbage, fried split white beans.
  • Mix properly. Add curry in this mixture add lemon juice and coriander leaves.
  • Garnish with fried noodles and coriander leaves.
