Black Jamun (Sweet Dish)

Ingredients:
- Khoya–125 gm
- Cottage cheese–50 gm
- Sugar–1 teaspoon
- Cardamom powder–1/4 tea spoon
- Maida ( refine flour) 2 tea spoon
- Suji (samolina)
- Ghee
- Sugar for syrup—-150 gm
- Water
- Silver sheet
Recipe:
- Add water in sugar till sugar is completely immersed. Heat it till thick syrup is formed ( 1 1/2 tar).
- Soak suji in one teaspoon milk for one hour. Mix khoya, cottage cheese,1 teaspoon sugar, maida, cardamom and soaked suji properly and make smooth dough.
- From this dough make big 6 to 7 balls and fry in ghee on slow flame.
- Stir only two to three time and fry till they are little black.
- Turn the heat off but leave balls in ghee for 1 min. Then put all balls in sugar syrup for four hours.
- Remove from syrup and cover with silver sheet and garnish with grated coconut.
