Beetroot Soup

Ingredients: (Cooking Time: 10 minutes, Serves – 4)
- Beetroot puree–1/2 cup
- Water—250 ml
- Maida – (All purpose / refined flour)—-1 tablespoon
- Milk —11/2 cup
- Butter-11/2 tea spoon
- salt to taste
- Pepper powder–1 tea spoon
- Oregano –1/2 tea spoon
- Garlic chopped–1/2 tea spoon
- Cheese grated—11/2 tea spoon
- Boiled beetroot pieces for garnishing
- Mint leaves—-3 pieces
Recipe:
- Boil beet root and make puree. Heat butter in pan add chopped garlic. Saute till little brown.
- Add maida and stir for one min. Add milk and stir continuously so no lump is formed.
- Make little thick and add 1 1/2 water and boil it.
- Add beetroot puree, pepper, salt, oregano and stir well. Remove from heat and add grated cheese and garnish with mint leave and beetroot pieces
