Sarso ka Saag

Ingredients: (Cooking Time: 20 minutes, Serves – 4)
- 200 gm–Spinach (palak)
- 500 gm–Sarso leaves(mustard)
- 1 tablespoon yellow corn flour (makai flour)
- 2 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoon ginger chilly paste
- 1 chopped tomato
- 1 teaspoon kitchen king masala or garam masala
- 1 bay leaves
- 1tea spoon oil and 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Recipe:
- Wash both leaves properly. Boil water and add both leaves in open vessel and boil for 10 minutes.
- Keep in strainer and add too much cold water. Then make paste with 3 ice cube so green color will not change.
- Heat pan add oil, butter and cumin seeds then add garlic and saute it till it turns brown.
- Add onion and cook till transparent. Add chilly ginger paste stir well, add tomatoes. Add the palak sarso puree.
- Add kitchen king masala,one spoon yellow corn flour, salt to taste and cook for five minutes.
- Remove from heat and put one teaspoon butter. Garnish with ginger and onion rings.
